Job summary

Qualifications

• College Diploma in Nursing - Required
• 1-2 Years - Preferred
• Two years Rehab and/or Medical/Surgical in the last five years preferred.
• Professional License with State of Practice - Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required

Responsibilities

• Documents all patient related clinical information and assesses patient for special needs and plans appropriate intervention.
• Engages resources to facilitate timely discharge and throughput starting on admission.
• Contributes to formulation of nursing care plans in collaboration with the RN and patient/families.
• Complies with regulatory guidelines for work area and professional practice standards.
• Care plan development and implementation with health care team members to develop goals and communicate with physicians.
• Administers medication utilizing the 5 rights and safety processes.
