Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide a wide range of nursing activities that support the medical plan of care in a hospital setting. You will assist in documentation, patient records, and contribute to nursing care planning while teaching patients and families for post-discharge care.

Responsibilities include organizing workloads, delegating tasks to nursing assistants, and maintaining professional relationships with medical staff and departments

Qualifications

• Must meet continuing education requirements.
• Knowledge to care for adolescent, newborn/infant, adult and geriatric patients.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
• Delegate tasks to nursing assistants and unit secretaries.
• Assist in orientation of new staff.
• Maintain positive image of the unit with all customers.

Responsibilities
