Job summary

The Gardens of Arkansas seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support medication oversight, health monitoring, nursing documentation, and coordination of medical services for individuals receiving services.

This non-exempt, on-site role requires an Arkansas LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to compassionate, person-centered care in collaboration with the Nurse Liaison, clinicians, and DSPs.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Arkansas LPN license.
• (From HTML) Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to complete background checks, registry checks, drug screening, and exclusion screenings.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn Therap and electronic MAR systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication rooms in a clean, secure, organized, survey-ready condition.
• Review MARs for accuracy and documentation.
• Coordinate medication refills with pharmacies and providers.
• Assist with medication reconciliation after hospital stays and other visits.
• Complete nursing documentation accurately and timely in Therap or approved systems.
• Provide staff education regarding medications and health needs.
• Coordinate medical, dental, and specialty appointments as assigned.
