Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is hiring a Medical/Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct, compassionate nursing care across the lifespan under supervision of the Nurse Director or RN. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support individualized care and positive outcomes.

The LPN will perform nursing assessments, document care, and participate in rounds, while maintaining required licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure for Missouri.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and LPN scope of practice.
• Ability to assess patient needs and communicate findings.
• Strong communication, documentation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using nursing process.
• Complete patient assessments and documentation.
• Deliver patient-centered care with consideration of age and cultural background.
• Perform clinical procedures and interventions per policy and scope.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the team.
• Organize assignments for efficient workflow and continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Educate patients and families and support learning environments.
• Support safety, infection control and quality initiatives.
