Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an LPN/LVN to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care with a patient-first approach. You will work within a collaborative team to support care and ongoing improvement of human life in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patients, documenting updates, and assisting with transitions from intensive care toward recovery, while communicating clearly with patients and families and coordinating with RNs and specialists.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential.
• CPR/Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, including medications, lines/drains, and interventions.
• Monitor patients for status changes (heart rhythm, oxygen levels, neurological signs) and escalate as needed.
• Document timely, accurate updates to coordinate care in a high-acuity environment.
• Explain complex conditions and recovery steps to patients and families with clarity.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and specialists to guide patients from ICU toward recovery.
