Zahav Healthcare Consulting is seeking dynamic LPNs for our Extended Care affiliated facility in Des Plaines, IL. You will provide dedicated, compassionate nursing care to residents and support daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Valid state nursing license and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state's Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and visitors.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
