Southminster in Charlotte, NC is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our premier retirement community. The 1st shift role provides care coordination, medication oversight, and daily resident support in a close-knit team environment.

You will administer meds, document responses, participate in shift handoffs, and guide Certified Care Partners to deliver high-quality care. A NC LPN license, English communication, and solid nursing skills are essential; weekend/holiday

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Excellent nursing practice knowledge and skills.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, initiative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, care, and oversight of assigned neighborhood and residents' plan of care.
• Administer and document medications, treatments, therapies, and procedures following applicable guidelines.
• Communicate 24-hour shift reports for continuity of care; document changes and orders; interact with residents and families.
• Oversee Certified Care Partners assignments; ensure care within policy and standard of care.
• Demonstrates dependability through punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
