Hilltop Lodge Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Beloit, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional nursing care for residents. The team includes a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Responsibilities include medication administration, daily resident checks, and upholding resident rights while maintaining professional standards and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• A caring personality and demeanor essential.
• Leadership and mentorship abilities beneficial.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Flexible to work scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and residents' quality of life.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure proper treatment and monitor status.
• Keep RN Supervisor informed about residents and staffing matters.
• Implement changes directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Provide professional nursing services per facility policies and procedures.
• Complete LPN documentation for admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Give and receive nursing reports during shift handovers.
• Investigate complaints and file oral/written reports.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
