Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN license
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in LTC or SNF preferred; new grads welcome
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in line with standards, orders and policies
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort measures
• Monitor vital signs and collect samples as needed (e.g., catheters, wounds)
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all regulations and policies
• Coach and support staff as needed
