Lafayette Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care for a 59-bed skilled nursing facility. The role includes coordinating care with the Director of Nursing, supervising CNAs, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

A current LPN license (Michigan) and CPR certification are required, with 2 years in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a licensed practical nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop care plans.
• Administer medications to residents and monitor for contraindications.
• Provide daily nursing care and supervise CNAs.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; maintain weekly and discharge summaries.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations and communicate with nursing leadership.
