Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Florence, KY. The role focuses on direct nursing care for residents, supervision of STNAs, and coordination with other departments to maintain high-quality care.

You will participate in medication administration, charting, and daily care plan reviews while supporting a respectful, growth-oriented work environment with strong benefits and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Functions: Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Charting and Documentation: Complete and file required recordkeeping forms or charts upon resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge; encourage physicians to review plans and orders
• Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician; verify resident identity before administering medication
• Personnel Functions: Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected arrival, room assignment; provide feedback on evaluations; lead and mentor assigned STNAs
• Nursing Care Functions: Review resident care plans daily; inform Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager of changes to care plan
