Job summary

Century Park Associates is hiring Full-Time LPNs for day and night shifts to ensure residents receive high-quality care in a warm, welcoming environment.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid in installments and a schedule with 12-hour shifts. Benefits include shift differential, competitive wages, uniform provided, and a free meal per shift. Reports to the Resident Care Director and emphasizes compassionate, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Must have Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from accredited program
• Must maintain an active LPN license in good standing throughout employment
• One (1) year experience in senior services preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, certification must remain current during employment
• Must have current First Aid certification (if required by State)

Responsibilities

• Oversees medication program including accuracy of medication assistance records (MARs)
• Provides hands-on medication assistance to residents and monitors med passes
• Performs treatments according to physician orders
• Takes blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, etc.
• Charts relevant information about residents
• Updates physicians of changes in residents' condition
• Transcribes new orders to medication sheet and charts appropriately
• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Orders and re-orders medications from assigned pharmacies as needed
• Responds to call lights and other requests from residents
• Provides report to staff for next shift
• Assists with supervisory responsibilities in Resident Care Director role
• Assists with training, supervision, and counseling of resident care team
• Assists with scheduling department hours appropriately
• Serves as a role model and treats all associates respectfully
