Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Ohio is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, Primrose policies, and applicable regulations. Through a collaborative, person-centered approach, you help residents achieve optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
• Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.
• Able to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care within Primrose policies and physician orders.
• Ensure residents' needs are met in accordance with standards of practice and regulations.
