Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in our community. You will follow physician orders and Primrose policies to ensure each resident achieves the highest well-being—physical, mental, and psychosocial—through a collaborative, person-centered approach.

Requirements include an active nursing license in the state, CPR/First Aid certification, and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification per state regulations.
Meet annual continuing education hours required for nursing license if applicable.
Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
Knowledge of current state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing as an RN/LPN/LVN in an assisted living setting.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments is preferred.
Able to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care within Primrose policies and procedures and in accordance with standards of practice.
Collaborate with physicians, residents, and staff to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
