River Place Behavioral Health Hospital in LaPlace, LA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for day shift. This 12-hour shift role offers every other weekend coverage and a supportive psychiatric care setting for adults.

Provide nursing care within LPN scope, monitor patients, administer medications, document accurately, and collaborate with physicians and RNs to maintain safety and quality of care. CPR certified preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• One or more years' nursing experience is preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license is required.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training are recommended.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patient health and provide basic nursing care within LPN/LVN scope.
• Administer medications as ordered and document administration.
• Report status changes to RNs and physicians; ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs and deliver compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and compliance with policy.
