Acadia Healthcare, through River Place Behavioral Health in LaPlace, LA, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care on day shifts. The role involves 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and collaboration with a team delivering psychiatric care to adults.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Role model customer service and prioritize patient safety.
• Collaborate to meet patient needs and address complaints.
• Provide basic comfort and implement individualized care plans.
• Apply interventions to progress toward wellness and maintain health.
• Communicate with patients and staff about care and status changes.
• Deliver medications safely per policies and physician orders.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and accurate documentation.
