Job summary

Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team in Aurora, NE. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor residents’ conditions to support their well-being with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires Nebraska LPN licensure, at least 1 year of LPN experience (preferably in long-term care), and strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care with staff and families.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Nebraska is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing degree or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Ability to safely lift and move patients.
• Familiarity with EMR and basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing and feeding.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress per facility policies.
