Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license is required.
• CPR Certification required.
• 1+ year of experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physical nursing tasks.
• Ability to work assigned shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor resident health and report changes promptly.
• Document and transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Collaborate on care plans and attend interdisciplinary care meetings.
• Supervise and mentor CNAs; ensure completion of care assignments.
• Participate in orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and resident rights protocols.
