Job summary

Merit House is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts with 12‑hour schedules. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, perform patient assessments, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in good standing.
• Experience using PCC or similar EMR/EHR systems.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work independently in high‑pressure settings.
• Experience caring for patients with dementia or cognitive impairments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, and physical exams to develop care plans.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments per protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems (PCC) ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, memory impairments, or developmental disabilities.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection and catheterization, maintaining aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning and patient education.
