Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• State LPN license required; CPI certification within 3 months for Behavioral Health departments; NC curricula for restrictive interventions required within 3 months for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units.
• Ability to comprehend policies and procedures and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; behavioral health units’ requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Establish an authentic, personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide care that promotes optimal health.
• Act within RN-led team, following current policies and procedures and healthcare standards.
• Demonstrate ability to intervene in therapeutic manners for behavioral health patients and manage assessments and documentation as required.
