Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care by assisting in nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Assist in assessment of physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient.
• Assess and document changes in patient status and notify charge nurse/provider as appropriate.
• Develop a plan of care for each patient based on nurse diagnosis and goals.
• Explain the plan of care to patients and families.
