Qualifications

• Must have active Tennessee LPN licensure.
• CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Represent PC&HC to patients/visitors in a caring, courteous, and professional manner.
• Provide prompt, efficient and accurate patient care.
• Prepare exam room for use and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Conduct daily health center room clean-up.
• Escort patients to exam room determining chief complaint and pertinent history.
• Take and record vital signs, record various results with re-assessment of abnormalities.
• Assist provider with procedures and patient care.
• Perform EKG, venipuncture, wound care, immunizations, etc.
• Call prescriptions into pharmacy and provide patient education as warranted.
• Utilize eClinical software for patient records.
• Triage calls for provider and coordinate appointments.
• Complete lab tests and coordinate external imaging as needed.
• Ensure infection control standards and OSHA requirements are followed.
