Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in High Point, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool. You will provide direct patient care on 12-hour shifts, under RN supervision, and support care plans across departments.

Requires completion of an accredited LPN program, NC LPN license, and BLS (AHA) certification within 6 months. 36 hours weekly with 3 shifts and 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, with pay range listed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current NC LPN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Document data, actions and responses of patients.
• Assist with plan of care and patient education.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and wound care as directed.
• Communicate changes in orders to the RN.
