Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time, long-term care to support residents in a 128-bed facility. The role requires a current LPN license, graduation from an accredited program, and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts with occasional weekends.

Your duties include administering medications, coordinating with RNs and physicians, and maintaining high quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If IV therapy is required in ND, complete IV therapy course approved by ND Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of RN, APN, or physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document resident interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly within an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate age/population appropriate care and participate in care plans.
