Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to patients across all age groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and coordinating patient care, assisting in evaluations, and contributing to care plans developed by resident RNs.

The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of clinical experience, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and maintain current licensure in Ohio along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years clinical experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to all age groups as indicated.
• Organizes, coordinates, and facilitates care for assigned patients.
• Implements and contributes to plan of care as developed by RN.

Skills

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of medication

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Ability to work in a high stress area

Able to successfully pass basic EKG test

Education

Graduate of accredited school of Practical Nursing

Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio

Current BLS certification
