Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center in Barre, Vermont, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our care team. The role involves assisting residents with ADLs, documenting care, and supporting nursing staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Vermont LNA license.
• Strong communication with residents, nurses, and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to handle different situations with tact, professionalism, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning).
• Provide personal care (bathing, hair care, oral care, back care, elimination care).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake/outtake.
• Perform routine perineal and incontinence care.
• Observe residents and report changes to nurse/staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Complete required documentation daily.
• Demonstrate flexibility with assignments.
