Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a warm, patient live-in nanny in Little Rock, AR to care for two children (ages 4 and 5) in a long-term role. Duties include morning routines, school pickup, afternoon activities, and bedtime routines in a split-shift schedule.

The family offers a private living space, travel opportunities, and requires 3+ years of nanny experience, a valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Travel with the family is expected at times.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional nanny experience.
• Experience helping children through transitions or providing trauma-informed care strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel and provide overnight care.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to get certified).
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Morning routine, including breakfast, getting the children dressed, and school drop-off
• School pickup at 2:30 PM and driving to activities
• Afternoon snack, play, homework help, and engaging activities
• Preparing dinner for the children, plus weekly meal prep
• Bath and bedtime routines, with the children in bed by 7:30–8:00 PM
• Keeping track of the family’s schedule, appointments, and activities
• Organizing the household and keeping things tidy (a cleaner comes weekly)
• Some weekend care as needed
• Traveling with the family and providing solo care when the guardian travels
• Comfortable living in a home with a dog
