Job summary

Compassionate Care In Christ Home Health in Browns Mills, NJ is seeking a dedicated Certified Home Caregiver to join our team. This live-in position offers daily opportunities to improve clients' comfort, independence, and dignity in their own homes.

We value compassion, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills. Valid NJ HHA/CNA certification is required; CPR/First Aid is a plus. You will work closely with supervising staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Jersey.
• Prior experience in home care or personal care preferred.
• Willingness to live in the client's home on a full-time basis.
• Strong interpersonal, compassionate and respectful demeanor.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Administer medications and monitor client health conditions as directed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Document and report any changes in client condition to supervising staff
