Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide comprehensive nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The role includes patient care, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.

The LPN will perform routine nursing procedures, monitor patient conditions, document changes, and ensure safety across patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Ability to provide safe and effective patient care in accordance with nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care and patient procedures as required.
• Participates in conferences and serves on committees as requested.
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient condition and nursing care performed.
• Participates in patient and family health education as necessary.
• Provides a safe and secure environment for patients.
• Administers a variety of nursing treatments as ordered by the physician under RN supervision.
• Responds in emergencies and assists with CPR and other duties as designated by RN or physician.
