Yona is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Michigan. The role involves operating laundry equipment, sorting and folding linens, and delivering clean items to residents and staff.

Experience is not required but preferred, with training provided as needed. Applicants should be able to follow written and oral instructions, work independently, and maintain a positive, compassionate attitude while supporting a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers and carts for soiled and clean linen.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts, loads, and unloads laundry; folds and distributes linen.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds, and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of laundry areas and equipment.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Prioritizes customer service and compassion in all interactions.
