Job summary

Bellevue Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our skilled nursing facility in Bellevue, WA. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry while upholding infection control standards and resident dignity.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, maintaining supplies, and collaborating with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No professional license required.
• No prior experience required.
• Laundry/housekeeping/healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled resident clothing, linens, towels, blankets, and other laundry.
• Sort laundry by color, fabric type and level of soiling.
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Measure and use detergents, disinfectants, and other products.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and linens.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and handle with care.
• Return clean items to residents or designated areas.
• Maintain supply of clean linens and laundry products.
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
