Qualifications

• At least 1 year of laundry or related experience preferred; on-the-job training is available.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and follow safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and commitment to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accountability of resident clothing and laundry items.
• Distribute freshly laundered clothing daily; match items to residents and room numbers.
• Relabel clothing and personal items as needed.
• Keep residents’ closets neat, organized, and well-maintained.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized laundry area.
• Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies per procedures.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional, courteous manner.
• Complete and maintain required laundry documentation accurately.
• Follow infection-control and facility safety procedures.
