Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping operations preferred.
• Previous experience with floor-care equipment preferred.
• Able to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Dust and clean assigned areas including resident rooms and living areas.
• Dust-mop, wet-mop, or spot-mop floors and apply cleaners as scheduled.
• Strip, seal, wax and/or buff floors as necessary.
• Vacuum, extract and/or shampoo carpets as necessary.
• Wash and dry windows and replace linens; make beds as scheduled.
• Report repair needs to supervisor or maintenance as appropriate.
