Job summary

Mercy in Ada, OK is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Ada Family Birthplace in a full-time role. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.

You will document care in the EMR, educate families on newborn and postpartum care, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to plan individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to mothers, newborns, and families during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor maternal-fetal status.
• Administer medications and support pain management and breastfeeding.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR and educate families on newborn and postpartum care.
