Belmont Village Senior Living in San Jose, CA is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to support our dining program. You will sanitize and clean kitchen areas, operate the dish machine, and ensure dishes and utensils are ready for service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. You will assist cooks, follow safety standards, stock after deliveries, and help create a welcoming experience that helps

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Post-offer pre-employment screenings may include background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and clean equipment.
• Sweep, mop floors and maintain appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks.
• Keep kitchen and dish room clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with stocking after deliveries and focus on resident satisfaction.
