Job summary

Fellowship House in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents and support their recovery journey through vocational kitchen skills. You will work with the Kitchen Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, handling menus, food safety, and coordination of meal times.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan menus considering dietary restrictions, preferences, or cultural requirements.
• Ensure quality and presentation meets facility standards.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance.
• Store food properly and manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
• Assist with meal planning and prep for special events or activities.
