Job summary

Tri-County Veterinary Clinic in Sevierville, Tennessee is seeking a Kennel Attendant to maintain the health, comfort, and safety of hospitalized and boarding pets while supporting the veterinary team in daily hospital operations.

You will provide daily care for boarded animals, assist with restraint and minor procedures, transport animals safely, and maintain clean, organized kennels and friendly client interactions. Flexible schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous kennel or animal care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle animals up to 130 pounds.
• Flexible schedule to support hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarded animals including feeding, watering, walking, bathing, and monitoring health.
• Safely transport animals between kennels, exam rooms, and the lobby.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint and minor procedures as directed.
• Follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions for boarding pets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels and facility areas.
• Greet clients, answer phones, and support a positive client experience.
