The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and companionship, with emphasis on a safe, positive home environment and clear communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or senior care experience preferred.
• Hands-on personal care assistance.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must pass required background and drug screening.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care and hygiene needs.
• Provide toileting and showering assistance as needed.
• Prepare simple meals based on the client’s preferences.
• Assist with mobility and everyday activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and general tidying.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Communicate important observations or changes to the appropriate care team.
