Job summary

Visiting Angels of Albuquerque seeks an In Home Personal Aide to support elderly clients in Placitas, Corrales, South Valley, Los Ranchos and surrounding areas. This role offers flexibility, room for growth, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Responsibilities include helping with personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, meal preparation, shopping, medication reminders, and reporting health changes promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management and reliability expected.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene.
• Managing light housekeeping tasks.
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompting clients to take prescribed medications on time.
• Helping clients with shopping and groceries (or shopping for them).
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients.
