Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home ventilator management, oxygen therapy guidance, and education in Elizabethtown, KY. The role emphasizes patient relationships, hands-on support, and improving safety and wellbeing outside traditional clinical settings.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:50 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Limited on-call duties with visits as needed; requires active licensure and willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) or other acceptable credential.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-home respiratory assessments with compassion and attentiveness.
• Provide education on ventilators, oxygen therapy, and respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings per physician orders to prioritize comfort and safety.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of clinical services and interactions.
• Offer ongoing phone support and follow-up care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and complete home visits.
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe, reliable home respiratory support.
