Job summary

Avanta Care Home Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to support clients in their own homes in Ocala, FL. You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, monitor health status, and provide companionship while following care plans. Qualifications

• Experience in home health care preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions.
• Ability to prepare meals, perform light housekeeping and assist with ADLs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Perform patient observation and report health changes to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Maintain cleanliness in the living environment with light housekeeping.
• Provide memory care support and promote cognitive engagement.
• Administer CPR if necessary and assist with catheter care as required by health plan.
