Job summary

Senior CommUnity Care of North Carolina is looking for a dedicated individual to assist in meal preparation and dietary services. You will work closely with the Registered Dietitian to ensure that the dietary needs of our elderly clients are met. Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the safety and quality of food served.

The ideal candidate should have experience in dietary services, be friendly, and enjoy working with the elderly. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic diets and adaptive eating equipment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and serving according to procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of participant information.
• Communicate clearly with the Registered Dietitian and staff.
• Check food and nutritional items for proper rotation.
