Job summary

Breakthroughs LLC in Tampa is seeking a compassionate female staff member to provide in-home personal support and companionship for a woman with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on community integration, supervision, and supportive ADLs, with transportation to activities.

Schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate enjoys community outings and is reliable, patient, and professional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Medication Validation certification required.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.
• Train.org trainings (HIPAA, HIV AIDS, ZERO TOLERANCE, Direct Care Core) must be completed prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from community activities and outings.
• Support participation in recreational and social activities within the community.
• Encourage independence while remaining available when support is needed.
• Provide companionship and maintain a positive, professional environment.
• Assist with community integration and engagement in preferred activities.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability at all times.
