Job summary

Florida, LLC is looking for a compassionate caregiver to support an individual with developmental disabilities. The position requires a reliable and patient person to assist with various home activities, meal preparation, and community outings.

The role is an independent contractor position paying $15.00 hourly. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and at least one year of caregiving experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The schedule includes Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri from 10am to 4pm, and Thursday from 11:30am to 9pm.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
