Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current, unrestricted state-certified credentials as required by the state.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with aide care and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document basic medical care and daily living assistance in patients' homes.
• Take weights and vital signs; assist with catheter and bowel care as allowed by state law.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and transfers with mobility aids.
• Support daily activities: meals, hygiene, grooming, dressing and eating.
• Observe, document, and report changes to supervising RN or physician as required.
