Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Millsboro, DE seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care and support daily living activities for patients.

You will document care, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, hygiene, and basic medical tasks under supervision, while maintaining confidentiality and safety. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and valid driver's license; prior homecare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current, unrestricted state certification as required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proven proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform, assist, evaluate and document medical care, including basic first aid and vital signs.
• Assist with catheter and bowel care and I&O monitoring.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Document care and observe changes; report to RN supervisor.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance and activities of daily living support.
