Job summary

Visiting Angels of Bryan is seeking an in-home private duty caregiver to support clients across Central Texas, including Navasota and Bryan. You will provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities in clients' homes, following tailored care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and emergency response training (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary guidelines.
• Willing to follow health and safety standards including background checks.
• Compassion, understanding and a desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with light exercise or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal cleanup.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and communicate health changes.
• Accompany clients to shopping, appointments and errands.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications as directed.
• Support mobility at home and during outings.
