Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team as Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or CNAs. You may join with or without prior experience to provide tailored personal care for clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include daily living support, safety, and documenting care while adhering to state and federal regulations. A flexible schedule and competitive weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety.
• Report significant changes in the client’s condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required.
• Monitor and record client temperature.
• Assist client’s with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
