Job summary

Home Instead is hiring a caregiver in Fort Lauderdale to provide compassionate in-home care for clients across Broward County. You’ll drive to client homes, requiring a valid license and reliable vehicle, and you must hold one of several caregiver certifications or a 40-hour state approved course.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA, HHA, or completion of 40-hour Home Care Course.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to commit to at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities; bilingual/multilingual encouraged.
• CPR certification (Red Cross approved) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and compassionate caregiving to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care support, including grooming, bathing, and mobility assistance.
