Job summary

A home care service provider in Michigan seeks a Caregiver / Home Care Aide to provide non-medical support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, ensuring client comfort and safety. A high school diploma and experience in caregiving are preferred, along with CPR and First Aid certification. This position may require travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a caregiver capacity preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing and grooming.
• Provide social and emotional support to clients.
• Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment.
• Document client activities and report changes to the Case Manager.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments or errands.
